Sottocasa in Brooklyn, NY

Brooklyn, Neapolitan, New York, Wood Fired

If you like neapolitan style pizza this place is for you! I frequented this place on a Scott’s pizza tour and wasn’t disappointed. At the bottom of a brick townhouse you will find the restaurant which was is warm and cozy on a windy day. The main draw is the wood fired oven located in the back of the restaurant so check that out. It gets so hot in the oven that the pizza literally cooks in just over a minute. The pie was tasty with the typical neapolitan traits, crust chewy on the inside and crispy on the edges. The sauce is a classic makeup of just plain ol’ crushed tomatoes, how fresh is that. If your in the Brooklyn area, it’s worth a visit.
