All I have to say about this place is 3 words….Deep Dish Heaven! We got there Saturday evening and were greeted with a wait of at least least 30 people ahead of us. While you wait you place your order and use use an app on your phone to track the progress of your wait time. We waited almost an hour before we were seated but I was expecting this because of it’s popularity. I ordered a medium deep dish with sausage. After I sat down it was a good 15min before my pizza arrived so I was loving the preorder! if you didn’t know deep dish takes longer to cook in the over then traditional pizza. The first thing I noticed about the pizza was the sauce. They definitely didn’t skimp on it and there were small chunks of tomato and flavorful seasoning throughout. The mozzarella was what you would expect but not overpowering or oozing. I really liked the crust that was golden brown and not too thick on the bottom but a nice balance with the sauce and cheese. Best Deep dish I ever had! Put Lou Malnati’s on your deep dish wish list.

Tip: Long lines on the weekend so hit it up during the week.
