I was in Las Vegas for the Adobe Max Conference and of course I had to check out the pizza scene. My trusting friend Yelp pointed out the best place for deep dish in the vicinity was Giordano’s. I called the order in and the hostess told me thirty minutes but it was more like a solid forty five. Where you pick up is part of a boardwalk raised off the street with a main area to Giordano’s patrons to sit. There were also other eateries and bars including a fried chicken place that looked good. My uber driver couldn’t get to my hotel fast enough and the pizza smelled and looked so good! I didn’t waste anytime ripping open that box when I got back to the room. I cut the pizza and the cheese was stringy and oozing out! I absolutely loved the golden crust and the sausage that was stuffed inside was tasty too. The red sauce complimented everything nicely and there was plenty of it. After two slices from a medium pie I was done. I could have fed 2 more people with the leftovers. Good stuff and definitely worth the uber round trip and the extended wait!
Tip: If you are picking up they have a separate location downstairs with all the boardwalk shops. Order the mini if you are ordering for one person.
